American singer and actress Miley Cyrus stunned audiences on Sunday evening as she stepped onto the red carpet at the 97th Annual Academy Awards in Los Angeles.
The 32-year-old singer looked breathtaking in a custom-made sparkling black dress by Alexander McQueen, featuring a sleeveless turtleneck bodice and a long, transparent skirt. A pair of lace gloves complemented the unique dress. Miley took the look to the next level with a popular beauty trend—bleached eyebrows. The bold ensemble was completed with a voluminous old Hollywood-style hairstyle with a side part and fluffy curls cascading down her back and across one side of her chest. She showcased her numerous small tattoos on her arms in this glamorous look. The former Hannah Montana wore eye-catching earrings and a single bracelet.
Miley was joined by her 26-year-old boyfriend, Max Morando, who also wore a black suit. Recently, she’s made a habit of appearing in public with her beau, who also accompanied her to the SNL50: The Anniversary Special in New York in February. During the festive show, Miley paid tribute to the late Irish singer Sinead O’Connor, who passed away in 2023, by performing a cover of her 1990 hit “Nothing Compares 2 U” alongside Brittany Howard and The Roots. Miley and Max also appeared together at the 2025 Grammy Awards earlier this year.
The couple, who have been romantically involved since late 2021, have kept their relationship relatively private. However, Miley briefly discussed him in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar in November 2024. “He looks at life completely differently than I do,” she shared with the magazine, reflecting on their six-year age difference. “He grew up with a laptop. I had a desktop computer that I shared with my siblings,” she explained.
